Gary Sheng is General Manager of Digisynthetic and SoundNet AV, and a PhD student in the Internet of Things Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Software Engineering and Business Administration from Sun Yat-sen University. In 2013, he founded the MiniUs app and the Love Lamp smart hardware product, reaching 10M+ users. Since 2018, he has led R&D on ultra-low-latency AES67-based IoT embedded systems and network-audio core modules, serving 60+ industry customers and delivering 200+ deployments worldwide across broadcasting, live events, conferencing, and smart campus scenarios. He was listed in the Forbes China and Forbes Asia “30U30” lists.
